Kimiko Hahn is an American poet born in 1955 in Mount Kisco, New York. She&lt;br /&gt;
received a bachelor&#039;s degree from the University of Iowa and an M.A.&lt;br /&gt;
from Columbia University.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;She is the author of Air Pocket (Hanging Loose Press, 1989),&lt;br /&gt;
Earshot (HLP, 1992) which was awarded the Theodore Roethke Memorial&lt;br /&gt;
Poetry Prize and an Association of Asian American Studies Literature&lt;br /&gt;
Award, The Unbearable Heart (Kaya, 1996), which received an American&lt;br /&gt;
Book Award, Volatile (HLP, forthcoming, 1998) and Mosquito and Ant&lt;br /&gt;
(W.W. Norton, forthcoming, 1999). In 1995 she wrote ten portraits of&lt;br /&gt;
women for a two-hour HBO special entitled Ain’t Nuthin But a She-thing.

Agreeable &lt;/em&gt;and&lt;em&gt; Paradise Road&lt;/em&gt;, as well as a nonfiction study, &lt;em&gt;The&lt;br /&gt;
Stories of Raymond Carver&lt;/em&gt;, a book of poems,  &lt;em&gt;Saint&lt;br /&gt;
X &lt;/em&gt;(forthcoming), and a book of translations, &lt;em&gt;Alphabet&lt;br /&gt;
of the World: Selected Works of Eugenio Montejo&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
(also forthcoming). He was awarded the Drue Heinz literature prize in&lt;br /&gt;
2007 and has received a Pushcart Prize and grants from the Pennsylvania&lt;br /&gt;

Nesset grew up&lt;br /&gt;
in northern California, close to the coast, and studied at UC Santa&lt;br /&gt;
Cruz and UC Santa Barbara, as well as abroad. He has worked as a&lt;br /&gt;
dishwasher, a tree planter, a telemarketer, a car parker, a caterer, a&lt;br /&gt;
writing consultant and a salesman selling wood stoves. Currently he is&lt;br /&gt;
Professor of English and Creative Writing at Allegheny College in&lt;br /&gt;
Pennsylvania. He also plays guitar and sings in a rock group, and DJs&lt;br /&gt;
on FM radio, shows featuring gothic, darkwave, EBM and&lt;br /&gt;
electro-industrial music. He is fond of mountain biking, kayaking and&lt;br /&gt;
blading, and lives with three cats and a mini-Pomeranian dog.
