All are welcome to meet, local author and quilter, Ann Dudek. She will be signing copies of her recently published book, The Scrapbook Calendar Quilt. Ann will be talking about the enthusiastic quilting ccommunity in our area. She will also discuss using your family history to make a quilt that can be handed down for generations to tell your story. Free and open to the public.
Here is a short bio of the author---
Ann Dudek grew up in Scottsville. She has lived in Sweden, with her
husband, Gary, for 22 years and raised her children, Matt &
Mark, here. Ann has been involved with the Brockport &
Spencerport quilting communities for 15 years. She was President of
the Morgan-Manning Quilters for 3 years. Ann has been designing
quilts for 14 years. This quilt pattern was requested by friends
who enjoy scrapbooks, but wanted to try quilting!
This is Ann's first quilting book. It was featured on QNNTV.com by
Jodie Davis and Mark Lupinski.
